We’re moving!
Everyone at Heath Vets is very excited to announce that we will be moving to our new premises from Monday 21st June 2021.
We will be open throughout the moving process, however, only for emergencies on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th.
As you can imagine we have an awful lot to pack up and move across, so due to this, we ask you to please try and avoid Friday 18th and Saturday 19th for any routine collections.
As we are moving, our previous premises on Junction road will be closed going forwards, so we look forward to welcoming you all to the new practice, which is just a 5-minute journey from our old location!
This new location will give us modern, purpose built facilities with much needed extra space where we can welcome all of our existing Hurstpierpoint and Burgess Hill patients under one roof. There will be ample parking and a spacious waiting area to help make your visits to the clinic as stress free as possible.
As an independent vet in Burgess Hill, it has been very important to us that we support local businesses throughout our design, build and relocation process. We would like to give a massive thanks to Sussex & Surrey Partitioning Ltd who have been our contractors for the new site and have been amazing thus far.
Â
Facilities available at the new practice:
- A large open plan reception and waiting area
- Separate waiting areas for dogs, cats and small furries
- Separate cat and dog wards
- Walk-in kennels for our larger patients
- 3 ground-floor consulting rooms for vets and nurses
- Triage room – just behind the main consulting and reception area for emergency cases
- Full hospitalisation facilities
- Two main operating theatres
- In-house laboratory
- Isolation suite for infectious pets
- NEW! Pet Groomers
We thought it would be beneficial to provide you all with the floorplans for how we will be utilising the big space:
As you walk into the building there will be a big open reception and waiting room with designated separate areas for dogs and cats and small furries to wait for their appointment. In the reception area you will also see a spiral staircase leading upstairs however, fear not, you will not need to bring your pets upstairs, these will be staff offices. We will be having 3 consulting rooms for the vets and nurses. There will be a room right behind the reception and consulting rooms for triaging emergency cases.
The back of the building is where our hospitalisation facilities and operating rooms will be. We will be having separate dog and cat wards, complete with walk-in kennels for our larger patients and an isolation suite for infectious pets. We will have 2 main theatres (operating rooms) and in-house laboratory facilities.Â
Very excitingly we will also be opening up a groomers! On the floorplan, you can see this at the very back of the building on the left-hand side of the plan!
