Sarah has owned and managed Heath Veterinary Clinics since 2003 having been part of the team since 1995. She has continually updated and improved the surgeries, ensuring that they are now one of the leading first opinion practices in Sussex.
She has had a passion for animals since an early age, being brought up on a farm and having been sat on a pony almost as soon as she could walk.
Sarah lives in Hurstpierpoint with her family. As well as stick insects and a bearded dragon thye have two gorgeous dogs, an exuberant epileptic Hungarian Vizsla and a German Shorthaired Pointer, whom she rescued when she found out he was tied to a pump and abandoned outside a petrol station in Hungary.
As well as delivering excellent professional veterinary care, Sarah believes it is essential that she and her staff have a personal relationship with the patients and their owners, many of whom have been with the practice for many years. She is dedicated to ensuring her team work alongside the clients to keep their pets healthy every step of the way.
She also encourages and promotes good pet care with youngsters and the community, regularly giving talks to local nurseries and schools, running the Vets of the Future campaign, hosting the Be Dog Smart events and running the Hurstpierpoint pet show which is now a popular fixture in the St Lawrence Fair.
