Your pet is a member of your family so it goes without saying that you'll want the very best for them, throughout their life. From routine vaccinations and health checks through to emergency vet treatment and senior care, you can rely on us to give the very best professional veterinary treatment and pet care advice, and always with a kind and compassionate approach.
The health, happiness and wellbeing of each and every pet in our care is of paramount importance to us – not only do we offer our professional expertise but we are also committed to making veterinary care accessible, supportive and sympathetic to pets and their owners. For example, we recognise that sometimes pets don't feel up to a trip to the surgery so we offer home visits at a time that is convenient for owners.
In addition to home visits, we also offer the following services and facilities at our clinics in Burgess Hill and Hurstpierpoint.
Our veterinary practice is RCVS accredited under the Practice Standard Scheme which means that our clients can be assured that our veterinary surgeons and nurses are fully qualified and fit to practice and that our facilities meet stringent standards.
We have rigorous inspections every four years and spot-checks between inspections. This is a voluntary scheme but we feel strongly that it is something we want to be part of to give our clients peace of mind.
We are 'Gold Standard Anaesthesia' accredited, ensuring the highest quality of anaesthesia utilising comprehensive procedures and protocols.
For many owners, the experience of losing a pet is heart-breaking and, for some, overwhelming. Losing a pet is losing a friend and, in many cases, a 'family member' too. Emotions run high and we understand that our owners need to have our support at this crucial time, which may include making the hard decision to bring a pet's life to an end.
At this sad time, owners need to know that their veterinary practice will look after their beloved pet in the kindest way possible, as well be sensitive to their needs, as the pets' carers. They need to know they will be supported with compassion and professionalism.
Our whole team has gone through specialist pet loss training, through Compassion Understood, so our clients get the best experience possible. We are extremely proud to be one of the first practices in the country to have achieved Platinum accreditation.
